Sliding Scale Fees

The sliding scale represents the idea that financial resources, including income, are not and should not be the only determining factor in whether or not someone can access services. It is an ongoing conversation with your provider, that can happen as your financial resources change.

Please see below to determine which tier you qualify for. There are limited Tier 2 and 3 sliding scale slots available.

Tier 1 (full fee)

$225 Individual Therapy | $250 Relationship Therapy

You qualify for this tier if any of the following are true:

  • You have a relatively high degree of earning power.

  • You have access to financial security, own property or afford high end rent, and have personal savings.

  • You are able to pay for the things you want and do not worry about basic needs such as food, housing, medical care, etc.

  • You have support from family members or others who are financially secure and support your therapy.

  • You may be paying off debt or working to build savings but you also have access to steady income.

  • You are able to pay for the things you want without sacrificing necessities.

Tier 2 (somewhat discounted services)

$175 Individual Therapy | $200 Relationship Therapy

You qualify for this tier if the following are true:

  • You have access to basic needs such as food, housing, etc, though sometimes it may feel difficult.

  • You can put some money aside to save or to splurge.

  • You are underemployed.

  • You do not have support from family members or others who support your therapy.

Tier 3 (highly discounted services)

$125 Individual Therapy | $150 Relationship Therapy

You qualify for this tier if several of the following are true:

  • You are unemployed.

  • You experience housing or food insecurity.

  • You do not have support from family members or others who support your therapy.
