Hello! Come on in.

about our work together

Everyone deserves a space where they can talk about sexuality and intimacy, without fear of judgment. In our work together, you’ll find a warm, inclusive space to reconnect with your body and make meaning of your experiences.

My approach to therapy is sex-positive, attachment-based and trauma-focused, recognizing that trauma affects both the mind and body. I practice from a humanistic, relational, and person-centered lens— I see you as a whole person, shaped by your experiences, but not limited to them. Our work together will be guided by compassion and curiosity, helping you move toward a sense of safety, connection and empowerment.

I specialize in sex therapy with a focus on sexual trauma and bring a strong foundation of insight in the intersection of sexuality and trauma. This includes work around attraction, pleasure, identity and the ways trauma can shape how you relate to yourself, your body and others.

I’m here to support adolescents and adults of all gender identities, expressions and sexual orientations. My practice is dedicated to creating an affirming, welcoming space for people across the spectrum of identities and relationship structures. We might be a particularly good match if:

  • You’ve experienced childhood sexual abuse and want a supportive space to reconnect with your body, sense of safety, and sexuality.

  • You’ve survived sexual assault, exploitation or coercion and are navigating how it impacts trust, intimacy and your ability to feel secure in relationships.

  • You’re struggling with pain/discomfort, a lack of desire, arousal difficulties or feelings of shame around sex, and want to explore how trauma might be influencing these experiences.

  • You and your partner(s) are working through the effects of trauma on your sexual relationship and are looking for guidance in rebuilding intimacy and connection.

  • Sex therapy is a supportive and confidential space where you can talk openly about your concerns with a trained and licensed therapist. Just like other types of therapy, it’s conducted in a safe environment where you can feel comfortable. Your therapist has undergone the same training as any licensed therapist, with additional specialized training in sexual health, functioning, and anatomy to better address your specific concerns. The goal is to address your sexual concerns in a respectful and professional manner. Sex therapy never involves any inappropriate or personal contact.

  • Not at all. I also work with a diverse range of clients navigating many different aspects of sexuality and relationships. I have a deep passion for supporting sexual wellness in all its forms including:

    • Individuals/partners living with serious mental health conditions, such as bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, or schizophrenia, who want support in navigating intimacy, relationships and sexual health.

    • Individuals/partners who are gender diverse and are seeking support around identity, relationships and sexuality.

    • Individuals/partners involved in kink communities who want a sex-positive, nonjudgmental space to explore their desires and relationships.

    • Individuals/partners in alternative or diverse relationship dynamics who want guidance around communication, boundaries and relationship structure.

  • I earned my MSW from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, with a focus on Behavioral Health.

I’m a licensed psychotherapist in New York and work under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), who provides guidance to ensure I provide you with quality care.

As a Sex Therapist, I am currently completing the University of Michigan Sexual Health Certificate Program in Sex Therapy.

I continue to pursue specialized education and supervised training in sex therapy to enhance my practice.

Our office is happy to verify your insurance prior to scheduling your first appointment.

  • To ensure fairness and make scheduling as efficient as possible for all clients, I kindly request that you provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel an appointment. This policy allows for open availability to others and helps maintain consistency in our work together.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur the full session fee.

Please note, missed appointments are not covered by insurance and will be billed directly.

I’ll do my best to reschedule missed appointments within the same week; if this isn’t possible, the cancellation fee will still apply.

  • If you arrive late to a session, we will still end at the originally scheduled time to ensure that other clients’ sessions are respected.

If you are more than 15 minutes late and haven’t communicated with me, the session will be considered a missed visit. In this case, the session will need to be rescheduled, or a missed visit fee will apply.

If you know you’re running late, please let me know as soon as possible—I’m happy to extend the 15-minute window when I’m informed ahead of time.

  • Many of my clients prefer weekly sessions to maintain consistent progress and continuity in therapy. As a result, my schedule is primarily structured to accommodate weekly sessions.

However, biweekly or as-needed sessions are also available on a limited basis to accommodate varying needs and schedules.

  • Our sessions will be kept confidential, with the exception of certain legal requirements. If there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or if there are concerns about child or elder abuse, I am obligated by law to disclose this information.

Let’s work together

I understand that opening up can be a vulnerable and intimidating experience. I believe in therapy as a collaborative process where your questions and feedback are welcomed and encouraged.
